Calendar Functionality

Navigation: DATA Tab > Calendars Side Tab. 

Calendars in SimplyComp are extremely flexible. There is no limit to the amount of Calendars that you create and Calendar years can overlap. The below functionality is impacted by how you choose to set up your calendar.

• Extend Plans and Mappings multiple years 
• Carry Hold Balances across multiple years 
• Set Calculation Frequency
• Set Attainment Frequency options

Calendar Templates

SimplyComp supports a variety of Calendar structures. The calculation and payout frequencies of your instance is set based on the template you choose. 

Calendar Groupings 

Plans are not built upon a single calendar year, but a Calendar Grouping. This allows you to minimize the build from year to year and release holds that span multiple calendar years. Only Calendars from the same Calendar Template can be grouped. 

Default Calendar

The Default Calendar decides the Calendar Year you are viewing on the Plans, Results, and Dashboard page. 

View Calendar

By clicking into a Calendar, you can see Period  title, the duration of the period, and the Start Date and End Date of each period.
